8 non-beauty beauty essentials
Seems...odd(?) that there are products/liquids/electronics that do not serve as typical beauty products but do more for outsides than some conventional products... know what I'm saying?

1. Probiotics
2. Water
Precursor, I am no doctor. I had to take probiotics when I was younger and just never stopped. I can’t explain it but it just makes everything do what it is supposed to… You know?
Dihydrogen monoxide lol drink it.

3. Green tea
4. Humidifier
A healthier version of coffee (but really not as satisfying). I drink green tea in lieu of a second cup of joe because it speeds up my metabolism and the caffeine makes me more focused than jittery. The beneficial health effects from green tea are also present in the decaf version; in other words, keep it up even into the late night.

Ever notice how you don’t cough as much when it’s humid out? Notice how your skin doesn’t dry out? Right. Another ~great~ thing water does for us. Unfortunately, heading into the colder months, the air drier out and that ever-present cough lingers for what feels like 39 years.

5. Coconut oil
6. Space heater
Yeah, I hopped on the bandwagon last year and am SO glad I did. I put a tablespoon in my breakfast oatmeal and it adds a little taste and creaminess. There is something about coconut oil that just lifts my mood, clears my skin and makes my hair shinier. I have friends who use the oil in their hair and for oil-pulling (which I have never tried) and they only have good things to say.

BLESS my new space heater. I am the person who always complains about being cold and because of this my skin dries out, lips turn blue and mood heads south. I take my space heater all around my apartment with me and alternate between my face/chest and feet. It makes me happy.

7. Castor oil
8. Vitamin C
