One of the pitfalls of social media is that we often find ourselves afraid of posting the same outfit twice. I’ll be the first to say I am very guilty of purposefully styling my weekly outfits for my Instagram in a way that does not feel repetitive.

But I’m sick of it.

We’re human and we have budgets. Insert: versatile pieces that work all weekend long. Below is a rundown of last weekend’s looks, how I changed things up each day, and how Tobi is the ultimate brand for the on-the-go girl who’s ballin’ on a budget.

The versatile white t-shirt
1. Errand-running (Saturday morning)

I am wearing the Tobi "Break of Dawn Loose Tee" with Hudson jeans and a BCBG faux-leather jacket.

This t-shirt is see-through which gave me a chance it jazz it up with a cute, yet simple, bralette. I paired the top with waxed leather jeans (with a hint of shimmer), leopard slides, and my favorite leather jacket. It’s one of those outfits you don’t need to think about while assembling but you’ll likely receive compliments all day.

2. Pre-night-out yoga (SaturDAY)

I paired that same Tobi-tee with some white Lulu Lemon leggings.

After finishing up my errands, I decided to relax before getting ready to go out. I kicked off my shoes and traded in my jeans for white leggings and hit the yoga mat. I knotted my shirt to provide for a little ventilation. This shirt was actually perfect to workout in because it was so light and moved with my body instead of feeling tight or stiff.

The ultimate LBD
1. Hair up, lipstick on (Saturday night)

For a night out, I played down the accessories and played up the lips, styling the Tobi "Bella Ribbed Bodycon Dress" with the dark MAC lipstick "Cyber."

A word to the wise, be freaking careful when applying dark purple lipstick. Actually, be careful applying any super pigmented color. After giving myself a fresh blowout I painted on my face and finished off the look with a little (ok, a lot) dark lipstick. Hey, it’s winter, who cares?

2. OK byeeeee (Saturday night-night)

Same dress, different pic. Vintage Gucci bag.

Am I wearing the dress or is it wearing me?

3. Waiting for the Uber

It's too cold to avoid wearing a jacket. Mine is from BLANK NYC (and is reversible) and my shoes are 3,908 years old and from Nine West.

Nevermind, I have to wait for the damn Uber.

The trendy, distressed dress
1. Meet the girls for brunch (Sunday (feels like morning but really it's not))

*Best collab outfit* I am wearing the "Show Off Shoulder Sweater Dress" with a Zara jacket, Doc Marten boots, Quay glasses and a Rebecca Minkoff bag.

Last night was fun but brunch will surely be better. I threw on the most comfortable dress I could find, my boots and a trendy jacket to make it look like I actually “tried.” But plot twist this outfit is stupid cute.

2. Unwound with a cup of tea while rehashing the night before (Sunday afternoon)

Me, contemplating the sentence "Stormi with a chance of Reign North West of Chicago."

Sometimes there’s nothing better than coming back to your apartment and unwinding with a cup of tea (no one needs any more coffee) and New Girl reruns. I unlaced my boots, hung my jacket up and called it a weekend well spent.
