If you follow me on Instagram, and you should, then you would have seen me unpack the Air Repair travel kit. I didn’t know it then but the products in that case would become essential to my everyday routine during both the day and night.
The full travel kit is $45 but the products alone add up to $76 so if you’re gonna get a few products, I would kindly suggest buying the whole kit. The people over at Air Repair must be geniuses because never in my life have I received a line of products that fits so perfectly with the skincare demands of my life. |
Aside from the black & white aesthetics of the packaging (and, let’s be real, it’s really all about the aesthetic), the ease of packing the travel kit was a no-stress addition to every weekend away I’ve had since I started using the products. The lip plumper also found its way into my “carry everywhere” pouch as it has a light-as-a-feather texture and long-lasting shine. Suffice to say, this stuff is the real-freaking-deal.

Let’s begin with the moisturizer: this stuff has hyaluronic acid in it which sounds intimidating but really all it does is lubricate cells and lock in moisture to your face. It’s non-greasy and absorbs quickly, making it a perfect pre-primer step in my morning makeup routine.

The facial mist is so, so, so perfect. This may sound overly technical but the trajectory of the product leaving the nozzle and reaching your face is very light and even. One of the biggest issues I have with “spray products” is that you sort of put your destiny into the hands of the cosmetics Gods and leave a lot of room for over-saturating your face with product or missing areas of your face because you couldn’t feel where the product was landing. This spray, however, does neither of those things.

THE RESCUE BALM THO. Ok. I am all about having one-size-fits-all products (i.e. I use lipstick on my eyelids). And all-purpose products like these are so perfect for everyday and every-season use. Cracked lips? Here’s some rescue balm. Dry skin on your knuckles? Oh, here’s some rescue balm. It’s a no brainer.

The Cleansing Milk is unlike any other cleanser I’ve used in my 10 long years of battling varying types of acne. Instead of creating a soapy texture on the skin, the cleansing milk washes over your face and removes any leftover makeup you may have missed. Unlike some face-washes, that take several rounds of water-splashing to remove the product, Air Repair developed a formula that washes off quickly, making your nighttime routine more efficient.

Since packaging is important to me, I’d like it to be known that one of the best things about this product is the tiny nozzle used for squeezing the product into the world. When we use things like eye cream, we really don’t need that much product and so having a tiny nozzle makes it feel like a natural part of the eye-repair process (that was kind of philosophical, sorry). In terms of the actual product, it has become a part of my nightly routine and although I still have bags under my eyes, they are most certainly Chanel.

Yes, Air Repair sent me these products for free. But I would never, repeat never, give a positive review of a product I didn’t believe you would love.
